Presented by BBC Worldwide North America and Fathom Events, the Two Internet Personalities Bring Their Humorous Antics to U.S. Audiences with Exclusive Bonus Features for a One-Night Cinema Event
DENVER – October 13, 2016 – Digital celebrities Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee, known for their close camaraderie, constant pranking and competitive nature, are upping the ante with an all-new, bigger and braver road trip across the United States in “Joe and Caspar Hit the Road USA.” Following the success of their first film in the U.K, Joe and Caspar Hit the Road, this feature, presented by BBC Worldwide North America and Fathom Events, will premiere for a special one-night event in U.S. cinemas on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. local time. In addition to the feature, audiences will experience an exclusive intro, behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Joe and Caspar themselves.
Tickets for “Joe and Caspar Hit the Road USA” can be purchased online by visiting www.FathomEvents.com or at participating theater box offices. The YouTube stars will travel 2,000 miles competing against each other in various jobs and tasks on a bigger scale than ever before, but can they really earn their stars and stripes considering the frequent challenges they face along the way? From footballers and ranch hands, to astronauts and cheerleaders, who will be crowned the all-American winner of Hit the Road USA?
Joe and Caspar said, “to all our U.S. viewers, we are so happy to be able to bring you guys a chance to see Hit The Road USA in the cinema at a one-time only event – it was truly epic to meet some of you during the filming and it’s great to be able to say thank you for your continued support. We really hope you love the film as much as we do.”
“We are constantly looking for fresh faces that make our brand more relevant to younger audiences. Joe & Caspar did incredibly well in the U.K., and we can’t wait to introduce them on the big screen in the U.S.,” stated Soumya Sriraman, EVP of Franchise and Digital Enterprise for BBC Worldwide North America.
“With millions of subscribers on their YouTube channels, Joe and Caspar captivate audiences around the globe,” said Fathom Events Vice President of Programming Kymberli Frueh. “We are so excited to partner with BBC Worldwide North America yet again to bring their latest project to fans nationwide for its big debut in movie theaters.”
