As executive vice president of marketing & digital for BBC America, Oswald M. Méndez is responsible for all strategic, creative and consumer marketing for the network, along with all digital platforms, social and branded content.

Méndez joined AMC Networks in 2016 from MundoFox Broadcasting LLC, from FOX International Channels and RCN Television Group, where he served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer, spearheading the network’s launch. Prior to that role, he served as senior vice president of lifestyle entertainment with FOX International Channels, where he oversaw all programming aspects including network strategy, content and marketing efforts across consumer, affiliate and ad sales solutions.

He began his career with McCann-Erickson Worldwide, where he managed The Coca-Cola Company’s global media strategy and Pan-regional efforts for LatAm. During his tenure in this role, he launched the Universal McCann brand regionally in Latin America and developed marketing strategies for multinational clients such as MasterCard, Nestlé and Johnson & Johnson.

Méndez was named one of The Image Foundation’s Powerful and Influential Latinos in Entertainment in 2013 and an Advertising Age Media Maven in 2007. He earned his Bachelor of Science in International Business/Marketing from the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
